vivo Announces X70 Series 5G Singapore Launch, Advancing Professional Mobile Photography with ZEISS

vivo officially debuts its X70 series 5G of professional photography flagship smartphones in Singapore. The X70 series 5G – consisting of the X70 and X70 Pro – marks the next chapter in vivo's global imaging partnership with ZEISS and their joint pursuit of creating the ultimate mobile photography experience. The vivo X70 series 5G incorporates top-notch computational imaging features inside and out, resulting in an intuitive photography experience that enables users to capture or record remarkably natural-looking photographs or videos. On the camera specs front, both X70 and X70 Pro come with a 32MP front camera. For the rear camera system, the X70 is equipped with a triple-camera system (40MP Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera + 12MP Portrait Camera + 12MP Wide-Angle Camera) while the X70 Pro is equipped with a quad-camera system (50MP Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera + 12MP Portrait Camera + 12MP Wide-Angle Camera + 8MP Periscope Camera).

In addition to the Biotar Portait Style's legendary swirly bokeh, vivo has supplemented three groundbreaking ZEISS Style Portrait features – inspired by the iconic, classical lenses Distagon, Planar and Sonnar – for X70 series 5G users to shoot with. The "Distagon" style produces an anamorphic effect, offering dynamic perspective while exuding Hollywood filmmaking aesthetics perfect for architecture and interior photography. The "Planar" adaption introduces classic bokeh effects, allowing photos to convey genuine expressions through portrait photography. The entire vivo X70 series 5G lineup has achieved certified compliance with ZEISS T* Coating, reducing reflections and enhancing light transmission to reduce ghosting, stray light and other image artifacts for guaranteed imaging brilliance. The recognisable ZEISS logo and ZEISS T* Coating label is stamped on the X70 series' rear camera array, while a ZEISS Vario-Tessar trademark has been subtly engraved on its protruding flashlight panel.

Both models utilise an Ultra-Sensing Gimbal Camera coupled with Gimbal Stabilisation 3.0 technology for users to capture steady images or videos in dynamic motion. VIS 5-Axis Ultra Stable Video technology continues to provide steady footage in motion by integrating enhanced OIS with EIS to transition the X/Y-axis with Z-axis rotation for well-rounded stability.

Both devices support 44W FlashCharge with vivo's charger which is included in the box. Users can charge up to 64% in 30 minutes, keeping the devices ready to go anytime anywhere. The X70 Pro and X70 devices are outfitted with 6.56-inch AMOLED displays (industry-leading E5 AMOLED for X70 Pro and E4 AMOLED for X70) that can peak at 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz response rate for smooth scrolling and viewing. Both devices support HDR10+ for video playback and are certified by SGS Eye Care Display and SGS Seamless Pro.

The vivo X70 series 5G comes in two colours, Aurora Dawn and Cosmic Black

The X70 Pro and X70 models are available in Aurora Dawn and Cosmic Black colourways. The Aurora Dawn colour pays homage to the iridescent radiance of the Northern Lights in the polar sky. The recommended retail price for the vivo X70 (without contract) and vivo X70 Pro (without contract) is S$949 and S$1,199 respectively.
