"The Captain America: Civil War movie has enjoyed positive reviews from critics and audiences around the world," said Alex Feng, CMO of Vivo. "Our collaboration with Marvel will provide fans of both our companies the opportunity to own the 'super hero approved' smartphone."

Movie co-branding is one of Vivo's key strategies in expanding into the international market. In 2015, Vivo collaborated with the much-loved animated comedy Minions and launched the customized X5Pro, while the company also had important cameos in The Martian and Mission Impossible 5 the same year.

"Vivo is designed for people who are passionate about life just as we are," continued Feng. "We seek to perfect our products and explore what the consumers really need and satisfy their requirements."

The two V series products were released in seven countries
including India, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia, taking the company's all-new flagship smartphones as well as the brand around the world.
